Cozy, Clean, Comfortable Coastal Cottage!

This is my second year staying at this very comfortable and relaxing bungalow. I’ve traveled the world and this is still one of my favorite vacation spots. Thanks so much for the owners in making this a very cozy and homey situation. No stress!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

We had the good fortune to find this place free just before Thanksgiving. What a wonderful time we had! Every day, we headed down the street to the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. It also within walking distance to a great burger place, a grocery store and tasty bakery.

The house itself was clean and incredibly cozy with a great layout. We really enjoyed the open floor plan and loved the huge back patio. The kitchen was amazing!!! I really loved the huge countertops!!!!

The owners, Jeff and Leslie, really made this a very simple process. They were very quick to answer our questions (no matter how silly) and really worked to make sure it was a nice stay. We will definitely be back!!

Great cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. Just steps from the best beach around for family fun without crowds. We had a great hike at Mugu State Park, and every restaurant we tried was delicious. The back patio of the cottage is perfect for small children and very private. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Fabulous vacation …super clean….the weather was beautiful…perfect for two adults and 2 older teen girls. Seconds to the sand….nice big kitchen…lots of books to read….the girls wished there were board games to play at night, but found other ways to entertain themselves. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful week at this Ventura Cottage. The weather was everything we could have hoped for. This location is perfect for walking to Starbucks, Seaward shops and eating places! We had everything we needed at this well stocked cottage (especially enjoyed the new kitchen area). This is a quiet street so it is made for a relaxing stay. Ventura offers spectacular beaches with no crowds! Thanks so much for making our stay so seamless and easy.

We spent 3 weeks in this lovely cottage. Walked to the beach every night to watch the sunset. Great location, walking distance to several good restaurants. The home was very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this home and plan to stay there on our return to California.

Relaxing in Venture

Spent May 2011 at this strudio apartment, both of us found our time here to be thoroughly enjoyable. The city is mind-blowing – always awake, always things to see and do. We basically walked ourselves into the ground seeing as much as we could possibly cram into our time – we were not disappointed! Understandably we were pretty tired at the end of each day and found the apartment to be a true “home away – – -“. It has all that a traveller requires and allows for fuul enjoyment of your time. The position is excellent for bus and underground and is close to two streets with numerous reasonable eating options as well as groceries, pharmacy etc. The building always felt secure (doormen) and the area safe.The park along the Hudson was handy for a jog and Central Park was within walking distance. We utilised the laundry frequently- a boon to travellers, as was the free Wi Fi. We have no hesitation recommending this property to any couple on holiday or business. Keith & Molly Glancey

My family loved this cottage. There’s nothing like hearing the crashing waves at night, when we’re trying to go to sleep. Aaaaah… 🙂 My children loved the large backyard, 3 minutes from the freeway, very short distance from the beach, Marina Park, Surf-N-Yogurt; beach living at it’s best. We stayed for about 7 MONTHS and loved it! Owner was very accommodating with any reasonable request, and we ended up being good friends with their house caretaker minutes from this house. I highly recommend this cottage if you want a cozy, beach experience… Thanks for everything Leslie!!!

Great Home away from Home

We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door of this comfortable apartment partly because the Internet photos had captured all areas of the apartment and did so accurately. The location of the apartment building is safe and fantastic for public transportation and groceries and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dinnerware. My husband especially liked the shower! Thanks to our attentive owners we would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends and family.

An adorable cottage a few steps to a semi private beach and the sparkling waters of the Pacific. The owners deliver exactly what they promise: cozy comfort, ease. affordability, and availability in the help of an overseer within minutes of a phone call should you need assistance. The patio is sundrenched and flower-filled; and in the garage you will find beach towels aplenty, sand chairs, boogie boards, and bicycles. Take advantage one day of the nearby wine country north of Santa Barabra in legendary Los Olivos — made famous by the film SIDEWAYS — and be sure to visit the Fess Parkway Vineyard — fabulous award winning wines! There were four of women on our escape: a soprano, a prosecutor, a minister, and a professor– who is also a writer. It was an enchanting weeklong escape that we will cherish forever.
