Great Value for one of the best locations on Lil Traverse Bay. Park your car and leave it til time to go home. Convenient location, especially walking distance to downtown. Lively in the early evenings, with walkers and sunset watchers, gives a sense of small town community spirit. On Waterwheel Bike Path. I walked past this unit for years always thinking it would be a terrific location to stay on the Bay. I was right. It is a comfortable second floor unit with a nice balcony and grill. Sunsets from the living room and sunrises from the bedroom. Nicely furnished; perfect size for one or two lazy people. The owners of this sweet Bay front apartment are extremely, who are flexible and appreciate their guests.

As a former 30 year Petoskey cottage owner I found this unit to be first class. Great view, walking distance to downtown and great finishes inside. Very quiet and peaceful. As an experienced Petoskeyite there not a better place for a couple. Wonderful owners . Eager to return to this spot.

Great place. The unit was clean and had a full kitchen. The view was spectacular, especially from the deck in the morning and evening. An easy walk into town to the bookstore and great dining. Pretty walks along the Little Traverse Wheelway and the Bear River right out the door of the unit!!! When we were considering the unit, I was concerned about the noise level from the parking lot across from the unit. This proved to be a non-issue. There was activity in the park and along the sidewalk/bike path, but it was very peaceful and quiet. The unit is set back from the street providing a nice buffer to the activity. We’ll stay here again when we visit Petoskey.

This was our third year in a row in this property, we love the location, with easy access to Petoskey’s gaslight district for shopping and restuarants, great golf nearby and beautiful views of the bay. The owners show real pride of ownership with many recent upgrades that make the stay even more pleasant. Hope to be back next summer!

This was our 3rd year staying in the upstairs 1 BR unit. When we arrived we were surprised to see many upgrades – new cement driveway, completely remodeled kitchen, freshly painted, new bed. The updates were lovely making an already great apartment even better. Can’t say enough about this rental – awesome location, fabulous deck, very clean, good amenities, just perfect for two. There are so many things to do in this area – great restaurants, golfing, bicycling, beaches, boating . . . it has it all.

Petoskey Getaway is a Charm

This was the best vacation rental we have ever experienced, whether in Michigan, Florida, Maine or elsewhere. The photos and description are accurate in all respects. Certainly the view from the deck is as outstanding as depicted and the location of the rental in Petoskey is ideal. We could walk easily (and often) to the downtown area and along the Wheelway in both directions, which provided delightful exercise.

The apartment itself is very well designed and organized. The bedroom can be closed off and the bed is quite good. Lighting throughout is excellent. The bathroom is pleasant and functional, excellent shower, good cabinet space and towel bars. The kitchen is small but efficient and well stocked. Actually the entire place is efficient and doesn’t seem particularly small. Lots of storage area, good chairs, good HDTV.

The area of Petoskey is splendid with lots of fine restaurants, take out places, two (!) independent bookstores, enticing shopping of all kinds. The town is also close to two other nice small towns, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs, and is not far from Mackinac Island. Lake Michigan is a constant wonder.

Highly recommended. From this location, you are able to easily walk right downtown, or catch the trail at the park. The space was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

I stayed in this location 2 years in row. Jeff and Leslie are great people and very easy to work with. They are both accommodating and truly want you to enjoy your stay. The location is amazing and the furnishings are equally as nice. I would highly recommend staying here. The view is worth the price alone, not to mention it’s proximity to downtown Petoskey.

Highly recommend this rental – it’s perfect for 2 people. The unit was extremely clean with nice furnishings and a comfortable bed. The view from the deck is fantastic and the location can’t be beat. This was our second stay and we will definitely return again next summer.

Jeff & Leslie have a truly wonderful home here! We visited for Memorial Day weekend and were VERY happy with our stay. This house is unmatched on both location & price. We stayed in the lower unit which is quite spacious and felt like a home away from home. You can literally walk to the beach, trails, restaurants, shopping in minutes. This place is a steal and we would recommend anyone looking to enjoy Petoskey stay here. We are looking forward to our next visit and will 100% be trying to stay here again if it is available.

My husband and I stayed in the studio the week of August 20th. Great views! And so convenient for our kayaking. The last day we dragged our kayaks to the bay and paddled over to Bay Harbor and back. We walked every night into town for dinner. Viewed beautiful sunsets every night. Plus, the bike path being right outside our door was a huge bonus. We would love to come back soon. Thanks Leslie!

The location is ideal. The view is probably the best in town. Everything was within easy walking distance. A beautiful section of the The Little Traverse Wheelway (on of the nicest bike paths we’ve ever seen) begins at the end of the block.
The condo was very well stocked with daily essentials (pots, pans, coffee maker, etc.) The layout of the studio is ideal, and the decor is stylish – very nicely put together.
We had a minor problem with one of the windows, and the owners had it fixed almost immediately.

Waterfront Studio Apartment

My husband and I spent four nights at the newly renovated studio apartment and we couldn’t have been more pleased. It has all new furniture and amenities and so much more. It is beautifully decorated as well as cozy and comfortable. We often ate on the deck watching people biking, walking, flying kites, swimming, strolling the pier or boating. The 1/4 mile walk to town is easy both by the walkway or along the street. It was fun to watch people fishing from the bridge by the house or hike the well maintained trail. We even found some Petoskey stones on the beach. There is also a paved hiking/biking trail going all the way to Harbor Springs that we hope to use on our next trip.

Beautiful Petosky Vacation Home!

We had a fabulous time during our stay in Petosky. The propety is conveniently located on the bike path, a short walk to downtown for shopping or a great meal at City Park Grill, near fishing spots, the city’s park, and a day trip to Mackinac Island, Traverse City, and the UP! We happened to stay in the studio while the owners were in the home downstairs. They are very friendly, and clearly take pride in their property. Both the upstairs studio and the downstairs home are beautifully remodeled and CLEAN! We have rented other properties in various cities throughout northern Michigan, and this has been the cleanest one we’ve ever had! We are already planning our return to the same property next summer!
