Our family had a great time, with plenty of room. The home was exactly like the description. We enjoyed the beach, the spacious kitchen and living areas, and most of all the spacious balconies on each floor. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was having to leave! We will stay longer next time!

Our group at an 8th grade retreat at the house with 10 students and 8 adults. There was plenty of space and was very well kept. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our weekend. I wanted to include some notes from our Students as well. They loved the place! Thanks again Leslie!

I really liked the house. It was amazing!! The beach view was amazing. I love the master bedroom. The bathroom was the best thank you for letting us stay in your amazing house!

Perfect place for a group or large family! We had a wonderful weekend here. The house is clean and well kept. It had all of the amenities we needed plus lots of extras.

The pictures don’t do justice to the home. It was great!. View was amazing, the beach a few steps away, and the amenities needed to have dinner for 20 were all there. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This home was perfect for my large family. We had all of the nieces and nephews and sisters and parents and in laws and even a best friend stay with plenty of room and privacy. The home was gorgeous and well put together. It was also very neutral for adults and children. The master bathroom and bedroom are amazing. The owners were very helpful and always cheerful and pleasant to work with. I would rent from these owners again.

Family had brought me down for the weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was exactly what I was looking for: quiet, peaceful, great view, clean & modern. Will be staying here again if I have the opportunity.

This house was perfect. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out without annoying one another, which is a luxury we didn’t get with our last two rentals. There was a living room for the kids, a living room for the adults, tons of deck space on three different floors, not to mention the beach and my favorite spot, the “crow’s nest”.

I loved the location. In our previous rentals closer to Pleasure Pier we didn’t feel safe walking to beach and crossing the busy Seawall Traffic with our little kids. Driving to the Seawall then paying to park was a hassle. We didn’t want to rent on the West End because we thought it would be a long drive to get everywhere. This house was in the perfect location. It was just a few minutes drive to Moody Gardens and not too far from Starbucks! However the house had it’s own path to the beach, and having a large empty pasture next door meant we had to beach almost to ourselves. I didn’t have to yell at my three-year-old when she wandered too far.

Perhaps we just got lucky, but I feel it was the large open pasture next door that drew in the wildlife. We saw a group of dolphins, a hermit crab, a Hawk and several Great Blue Herons. We picked up a bucket of shells I didn’t know you could even find on Galveston. We got conch shells, sand dollars, “butterfly wings” and sea shells bigger than my hand – which I prominently display in my office at work. I get all kinds of compliments on my shells. One of the locals told us it’s the best beach for picking up shells.

I loved the views from the kitchen. Every night we cooked dinner watching the sun set.

I would suggest making sure you bring your tripod and telephoto lenses.

Last month, my husband and I rented this amazing house for a quick get away from our hectic lives! The view alone is worth it! The neighborhood is quiet and the owners were not kidding by saying steps to the beach. We enjoyed a wonderful walk at dusk without worrying about parking or the hectic seawall traffic. Also, we liked that it wasn’t too far out of town. We were able to run in and grab some items from the local grocery without hassle.

The house is huge and made to accommodate large groups. Even though it was just the two of us, it was still really cozy. There is nothing like waking up to a spectacular view of the ocean.

Thank you, Jeff and Leslie, for helping give my husband and I a much needed mini-vacation! We will definitely contact you again for our family gatherings or a another sneak away weekend!!!
